Qualifications:

  • Prior outside business to business sales experience with a proven record of sales revenue growth
  • A hunter mindset with strong affinity towards cold calling
  • Self-motivated and goal oriented
  • CRM software and Microsoft Office knowledge
  • Sales: 3 years (Required)
  • Business Development: 2 years (Required)
  • Building Materials: 2 years (Required)

Responsibilities:

  • Call on landscape professionals to maintain and grow existing business and establish relationships with new customers to build future sales.
  • Utilize all available resources, including an established weekly goal of cold calls, to reach prospects and turn these prospects into customers.
  • Maintain records of all sales leads, customer accounts, and projects with our existing CRM software.
  • Monitor competitors, new products, and industry/market trends to understand customer specific needs and how our elite products meet the need.
  • Network throughout the industry by active participation in professional association meetings and occasional trade shows.

Successful Candidate Attributes:

  • Prior outside business to business sales experience with a proven record of sales revenue growth
  • A hunter mindset with strong affinity towards cold calling
  • Previous horticulture/landscaping experience and/or sales within the construction industry a plus
  • CRM software and Microsoft Office knowledge
  • Self-motivated and goal oriented

A landscaping staple since 1985, Living Earth® is the leading recycler of green waste and producer of organic mulch, compost and soil in Texas and Tennessee. We are hiring hiring a site manager at our Dallas headquarters location.

 

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and a strong can-do attitude. The position requires the manager to lead by example (no task too small) and work effectively with all levels within the company from senior management to hourly employees. The position works Monday through Friday with a half day on Saturday.


This is a retail and production facility. The site manager oversees (and participates in) all areas of the business operation.

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for all day-to-day activities at the site, including but not limited to safety & compliance, operational efficiency, and scheduling and oversight of site employees, contractors and vendors.
• Ability to search out and grow customer sales opportunities in the site area.

Front Loader/Excavator Operator

Front Loader/Excavator Operator

Living Earth® is the largest recycler of tree limbs, brush, leaves and grass clippings and the biggest manufacturer and provider of mulch, compost and other landscaping materials in Texas and Tennessee. We are seeking heavy equipment operators at our Richmond (Houston area), Knoxville and Nashville locations. The successful candidate will operate and minimally maintain front loaders and excavators on our work site. The position is Monday through Friday with Saturday hours as needed.

 

The highly attractive compensation package includes competitive hourly wages and semi-annual discretionary bonuses.   • Operate heavy equipment (i.e. Front-End Loaders, Excavators, Grinders, Screeners etc.) in compliance with Living Earth’s operating safety policies and procedures.
  • Loading of mulches, soils, compost, sands and gravels into trucks and customer vehicles.
  • Ensure Living Earth® equipment and material is maintained, cleaned and stored safely. Pre-shift/post-shift equipment per standard operating procedures.
  • Timely completion of all paperwork, reports and other documentation.
  • Provide recommendations for maintaining and improving environmental performance.

 

Successful Candidates Attributes:

  • At least one year of front-end loader operation.
  • At least one year of excavator operation.
  • Strong disposition for positive customer service; go above and beyond for customers.
  • Strong communication skills especially verbal communication.
  • A can-do attitude to work in all types of weather conditions.

Living Earth is hiring Class A CDL Drivers at our Houston, DFW, Nashville and Knoxville locations. The ideal candidate will have a solid driving record and a strong history of customer service. The position is Monday through Friday with Saturday hours as needed.

Successful Candidate Attributes:

  1. Class A Commercial Driver’s License. Experience with manual transmission required.
  2. 3 years previous experience with end dump and/or flatbed trucks.
  3. At least 21 years of age with 3 years previous commercial driving experience
  4. Strong disposition for positive customer service; go above and beyond for customers
  5. Strong communication skills especially verbal communication.
